Inspiration for the painting. MASTER DIEGO!!!!

I wanted to post this amazing painting by Diego Rivera that really inspired me to do my painting. He really depicted this woman with a lot of humility and care. She is painted with such power and grace that he has captured the figure of this Black woman with all the attributes of an hour glass goddess. Rivera Has many more paintings of Black women and it is through these works that you can see the admiration he had for the body of a woman of African descent. Although I do have to add that Mr. Diego had an admiration for all female body types if you know his history.

Also I figure I would show you all some of the reference I was using for this painting. I painted the magazines from life but here are some images of how I kept them in place when she was posing.
